Our Process
We at Keeping the Image Alive take our role in helping you maintain your locs quite seriously.
To achieve the best results we have opted to use a four-step program coupled with our custom-made line of products to ensure our clients receive an experience that is beyond measure.
Wash
Each visit begins with a 4-step deep shampoo & Condition. We begin by rinsing and shampooing the full length of the locs a total of 3 times followed by our condition and optional Hot-Oil Treatment or Seams.
Twist
Our style of maintaining locs is key in maintaining a smooth form, by interlocking and palm rolling of each loc individually. Only locking the hair occasionally as to avoid damaging the loc.

It is a common misconception that locs do not need to be treated, and that's simply not true. At KTIM we always say, "It's your hair. You're going to be wearing it every day, so if you want beautiful locs you have to treat it."
